Bio
Christine Hoberg is a singer-songwriter from the Great Lakes region of the US, now making music out of Brooklyn, NY.
As a young child, Hoberg’s parents owned a radio station and many of Hoberg’s early memories were of time spent in her dad’s office while the Who and Fleetwood Mac was spun in the background.
Hoberg who took an interest in music, art, and dance from a young age, always had an artist’s spirit. Writing her first jingles as a toddler, she later dabbled in clarinet, guitar, piano, and audio engineering as she made her journeys around North America and a short stint in Paris, finally landing in NYC.
Her second release, ‘Ugly’ (December 2010) is quickly picking up positive reviews with comparisons to Feist and She & Him. The NY Examiner said of Christine, ‘Her latest EP ‘Ugly’ dropped last week and I haven’t stopped listening to it since,’ & ‘Christine Hoberg is one to watch for in 2011’.
Hoberg's third release 'Moonlight Never Shined So Bright' was released November 2011 and is available on christinehoberg.bandcamp.com
